He has a strong ego and aggressive personality. He also has a truck record of success, and he is quite ambitious. However, he does not show respect for differing opinions in the team and does not appreciate collaboration of ideas. In order to bring Fitzgerald into the team more and foster a better relationship among team members, I should understand that people have differing opinions about team work. Some people hate teamwork, and Fitzgerald is one of them. Others love it. An important way of bringing back Fitzgerald into the team and fostering relationships in the team is by building cohesiveness in the team by using team interaction. This involves increasing contact between members. This can be done through social forums, seminars, workshops, etc. Another wa y of fostering better relationship in the team is by building a shared value (Martin, 2005). I would encourage team members including Fitzgerald to work within shared values and mission, and not individual achievement. In order for Fitzgerald to join the team, he should understand team norms and values that will enable the team to accomplish its vision and mission. Therefore, as a team leader I would explain to him about the shared purpose and values of the company, and the importance of having them for the team. Another way of fostering relationships in the team is building consensus and making Fitzgerald to admit his mistakes. Even if he is effective and efficient in his work but does not appreciate teamwork, he cannot accomplish the shared vision and mission of the team without collaborating with other team members. An Interview with a Sixth Grade Student Bringing up the topic of conducting a case study to my cooperating teacher was a surprising experience. I remember asking my teacher to recommend a â€Å"difficult† student that would provide an interesting interview. My teacher quickly responded, â€Å"Why do your professors always want a difficult student? Sometimes good students provide the most interesting interviews.† I thought about his response and the next day asked him if I could interview Antonio, a student who had intrigued me from the first day I entered Dunn Middle School. Antonio caught my attention because based on his appearance and demeanor in class, one would assume Antonio was a poor student who could not care less about what was being learned in the classroom. However, once a lesson began or a worksheet was distributed, Antonio transformed into a focused and enthralled student. During my lectures I had to avoid calling on him because he knew the answers right away and loved giving corre ct answers. I wanted to know how a student who was so quiet and indifferent during homeroom could become an ideal student when class began. Antonio might not be considered a â€Å"difficult† student, but he is definitely an interesting case and I learned a lot from him during the interview. Based on looks alone, Antonio is an average student in my classroom. He is of average height with a slightly slim build. I have never seen him wear anything other than jeans and tee shirts. Antonio is Hispanic, but I have not heard him speak Spanish in class as other students frequently do. He is also especially quiet in social situations, such as homeroom or free time. Two reasons why abstinence is 100% effective is because if you follow it, there is no way that you can get an STD/STI, and there are no risks at all.If you decide not to have sex then there is no way you can get pregnant, choosing abstinence is basically the fact that you would constantly have to visit the doctor to get checked for diseases. Five ways to show a partner that you care without engaging in any sexual activity is to ? Talk to each other. ? Buy flowers for girlfriend/ wife ? Write a love poem ? Prepare romantic dinner ? Show affection with words.Two consequences of a person that doesn’t choose to be abstinent are that they could get an STD/STI, or the female could get pregnant. Abstinence is the most effective way of preventing an STD/STI or pregnancy, although it can be hard. You just have to think of it in the most positive way that you can, and understand that being abstinent is the best solution for you at a young age.
